Saved Searches

The Saved Searches tool allows searches created with the Document Search Tool, Attribute Search Tool, or the Asset Search Tool to be saved for later retrieval.

NOTE: Saved searches can only be retrieved from the computer on which they were saved.

To save a search

  1. Enter a descriptive search name.
  2. Press the Save Search button. The list of available searches will update with the new search name and the date it was saved.

To retrieve a search

  1. Select a search from the list of available searches. The search name should be highlighted when selected.
  2. Press the Refresh button. The length of time required for the search task to complete depends on the size result data set. Once the search task is complete, the map will zoom to the extent of the results and the Results Display window will open. See Using the Results Display for how to use the Results Display window.

To delete a search

  1. Select a search from the list of available searches. The search name should be highlighted when selected.
  2. Press the Delete button. The search name will be removed from the list of available searches.
